About this adventure
A family campfire program at McCloud Nature Park in which naturalists show how to cook a snack over the fire, using techniques such as roasting and Dutch oven cooking; each session features a different treat. It is open to all ages and lasts about 90 minutes, meeting at the Ray & Mary Benson Nature Center. Spots are limited and tend to fill quickly, so register early through the parks' RecDesk page. The fee is $3 per person. The program is cancelled in rain or severe weather, so dress for an evening outdoors in November.
