About this adventure
An interactive, family-friendly storytime that introduces children to the German tradition of Sankt Martinstag. Storytellers bring the tale of Saint Martin, a Roman soldier remembered for sharing his cloak and for his compassion and generosity, to life with an illustrated storybook, audience participation and questions for the kids. Sessions start every 15 minutes between 4 and 6 p.m., so families can drop in on the way through the market rather than arrive at a set time. It falls on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, when the market opens early at noon. Market admission is free.
