About this adventure

A short hands-on science program in the Corteva Agriscience STEMLab inside the ScienceWorks gallery. Children find out where DNA is found in nature, extract real DNA from plant cells, and hear the story of the scientists who discovered DNA's structure. The space includes quiet areas and a tactile activity, and the extraction has a strong smell. It runs several times a day as one of the museum's staff-led daily activities.
