About this adventure

A free 100-acre sculpture and nature park in the middle of Indianapolis, with a 35-acre lake, woodlands, wetlands and the city's largest native pollinator meadow. Large outdoor artworks sit along the paths, including the Hawryluk Sculpture Green and the Home Again installations by Heather Hart, Anila Quayyum Agha, and Mark Dion with Dana Sherwood. No tickets are needed. The park connects to the Central Canal Towpath, so families can walk or bike in from Broad Ripple or the White River Trail; bike racks are at every entrance and there is a Pacers Bikeshare station at the towpath entrance. Some paths are accessible and the parking lot is ADA and stroller accessible. The Ruth Lilly Visitors Pavilion, which holds the restrooms, is closed Nov. 1–April 1.
