About this adventure
A relaxed Thanksgiving Day race in Jacksonville's Riverside/Avondale area that starts and finishes at Fishweir Brewing Company on Edgewood Avenue. Grown-ups run or walk the 5K at 9 am, and children get their own 1K at 10 am, so families can do both. Afterward participants stay to eat and celebrate at the brewery. It suits families who want a short, neighborhood kids' race on Thanksgiving morning rather than a big crowded event. Register online in advance; fees rise closer to the date.
