About this adventure
Jacksonville's year-round indoor ice rink, home of the ECHL Jacksonville Icemen, runs public skating sessions open to all skill levels most days of the week. Families book a session from the rink's monthly skating calendar, sign the online waiver, and rent skates at the counter; ice walkers (skating aids) can be rented for new skaters. Monday morning sessions are free for skaters who show the Publix app (rental extra), and select Tuesday and Thursday Family Nights bundle admission with skate rental. Featured themed skates are added on school holidays such as Veterans Day and no-school days. Some days have no public skate because of hockey games or events, so check the calendar first.
