Argentine Betterment Corporation holds its third annual Trunk-or-Treat for families in the Argentine and southeast Wyandotte County neighborhoods at J.C. Harmon High School. Local businesses, community groups and families decorate car trunks and hand out candy, and costumes are encouraged. Organizers typically welcome about 400 participants. The event is free and runs 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., a contained, walkable alternative to street trick-or-treating for young children.
