A three-hour holiday art camp at Gamber Community Center near downtown Lee's Summit. In this "North Pole experience" campers work like elves in Santa's workshop, making various ornaments and giftable projects, then make and wrap two or three gifts to give to whomever they choose. Lee's Summit Parks & Recreation runs separate sections for ages 5-9 and ages 10-14 on each date, 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 20. It is a drop-off style camp; register the child for the section that matches their age through the city's online registration.
