A Nevada Department of Wildlife (NDOW) representative visits Clark County Library to explain the mammals, birds and reptiles that may turn up in Las Vegas neighborhoods, from coyotes strolling down the street to ducks nesting in backyards. The talk covers what to do if you meet a wild animal or find a baby bird on the sidewalk, how to protect your family and pets at home and on the road, and how to live responsibly alongside wildlife. The one-hour Saturday morning program is free and open to the public of all ages and suits curious school-age kids and their parents. Seating is first come, first served.
