The Lythgoe Family's holiday panto comes to Laguna Playhouse for most of December. The show puts a festive spin on the Aladdin story with chart-topping pop songs, broad comedy, big dance numbers and plenty of audience participation. Aladdin, Princess Yasmin, the Genie and the goofy Wishee Washee go on an adventure full of magic and mischief, with spectacular scenery and twists along the way; the playhouse calls it a joyful theatrical celebration for all ages. On opening day, December 4, there are also two ticketed Family Holiday Party pre-show events (12 p.m. and 4 p.m.). Aladdin ticket holders get 15% off the playhouse's later family show, The Adventures of Tortoise & Hare.
