A gentle nature stroll for the very young at Aliso and Wood Canyons Wilderness Park in Laguna Niguel. OC Parks naturalists lead little ones and their grown-ups from the visitor center through the garden and along the creek, looking for bugs, plants and birds on the way. The program is designed for children 3 and younger, though everyone is welcome, and anyone under 18 must be with a guardian. Wear closed-toe shoes and bring snacks and water; most of the trail is not stroller-friendly, so a carrier may be easier for babies. The walk is free, parking is $3 per vehicle, and advance registration is required.
