Deerfield Beach's beachside holiday kickoff in the Main Beach parking lot. The evening includes festive entertainment, holiday activities, treats and photo spots, a Santa Parade at 5:30 p.m. and the big holiday light-up of Ocean Way. Admission is free and the event runs 5:00–9:00 p.m. Parking on the barrier island is limited, so the city runs a free shuttle from the St. Ambrose parking lot (363 SE 12th Ave) from 4:30 to 9:45 p.m., and Freebee rideshare rides within the city are free. A good fit for families with young children who want Santa and lights in one evening.
