The Douglas F. Bryant Winter Recreation Area at Elm Creek Park Reserve in Maple Grove has a lighted tubing hill with lifts and snowmaking, a beginner-level downhill ski and snowboard hill, almost 18K of cross-country ski trails and a separate sledding hill reached from the swim pond parking lot. Tubing: 2 hours for $22 per person (2026–27 rate), half-price Wednesdays ($11) excluding Winter Break and holidays; regular tubing hours Wed–Fri 4–9 PM, Sat–Sun 10 AM–9 PM, closed Mon–Tue; Winter Break hours Dec. 19–23 and Dec. 26–Jan. 3 10 AM–9 PM, Dec. 24 10 AM–3:30 PM, closed Dec. 25. Advance tubing reservations are strongly encouraged (up to 14 days ahead; max 10 tubes per day). Downhill: children 4 and under ski free with a paid adult; 2025–26 daily pass $20 plus tax (ages 5+).
