About this adventure
Barfield Crescent Park hosts the Barfield Bash, a Halloween carnival for all ages, on Saturday, October 24 from 5 to 9 pm. Families buy tickets to play ghostly games for ghost bucks that are traded for prizes, with separate tickets for the cake walk and the bouncy house, plus spooky music. Kids can trick-or-treat with local businesses along the Avenue of Treats, and free activities run in the ballfields. Food is sold by concessions and food trucks. The same evening, from 5 to 7 pm, the park runs a Not So Haunted Hayride with Goldilocks ($5): a gentle, not-scary hayride with a live-action telling of Goldilocks with a heartwarming twist and other fairytale characters to meet along the way.
