About this adventure

Cheekwood is a 55-acre botanical garden, arboretum and art museum on the 1930s Cheek family estate in west Nashville. For families, the two-acre Bracken Foundation Children's Garden has tunnels, water easels, a labyrinth and a turtle pond, and the Turner Seasons Garden holds the TRAINS! exhibit and Hugo and the Impossible Thing storybook trail, with an enchanted train depot, tunnels, observation domes and 1,035 feet of track. Cheekwood suggests kids act as investigators: look for wildlife, smell the herbs and count flower types, without picking. The mansion galleries show rotating works from the collection.
