About this adventure

Cannonsburgh Village is a free, city-run pioneer village showing about 100 years of early Tennessee life, from the 1830s to the 1930s. Families can walk among a gristmill, a one-room school house, a telephone operator's house, the University House and Leeman House, a museum, a caboose, a wedding chapel, a doctor's office, a general store, a blacksmith shop and the World's Largest Cedar Bucket. Self-guided tours are free, and the visitor center sells postcards, snacks and souvenirs. Call ahead, because the village sometimes closes for private rentals.
