About this adventure
GraceWorks' 27th annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot draws more than 4,700 runners and walkers through the heart of Cool Springs in Franklin, with a 10K, a 5K run/walk and a Kids' Turkey Chase. The schedule starts with race-day registration at 6:15 am, the 10K at 7 am, the 5K at 8 am and the Kids' Turkey Chase at 9 am, so families can do the 5K together and then cheer the kids on. Strollers are allowed and welcome, and new pace corrals help families with little ones and slower walkers start comfortably. Race Central is at 5000 Meridian Blvd, where age-group awards and medals are handed out right after the race. Every registration supports GraceWorks' food, shelter and support services for local neighbors in need, and runners can also fundraise. Early VIP packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet Brentwood or Cool Springs with a 20% store discount. Registration fees are non-refundable.
