Governors Island's annual pumpkin patch and fall festival returns to Nolan Park lawn on October 24 and 25, 2026, 10am to 5pm. Visitors pick their own pumpkins (limit one per person per household; bring a tote bag). The festival also lists trick-or-treating, Governors Island Ghost Tours, fall foliage walks, a reading nook with Brooklyn Book Bodega, pumpkin painting, activations from NYC Bird Alliance, Billion Oyster Project and Earth Matter NY, folk music curated by Porch Stomp, daily performances by Hopalong Andrew, and food vendors.
