About this adventure
The Grande Lakes pastry team runs a hands-on gingerbread house workshop in the resort's Lobby Lounge on late-November and December weekends. Families assemble pre-baked gingerbread panels on a wooden base and then decorate their house with dozens of candies and edible embellishments at a 'Santa's Workshop' setup, inspired by the life-sized gingerbread house displayed in the lobby. Sessions are two hours long, three times a day, and must be reserved in advance through the resort's booking site. A good activity for school-age children who like crafts and sweets; younger children will need a grown-up's help with assembly. Pair it with an evening skate on the resort's seasonal ice rink.
