The City of Longwood kicks off the holiday season with a tree lighting and holiday concert in Reiter Park on a Thursday evening in early December. Families can listen to seasonal music on the lawn and watch the tree light up. The event runs from 7 to 9 p.m. The city listing is short, so details on performers or refreshments are not posted; bring chairs or a blanket. Note that Longwood also holds a larger Celebrate the Season street party at Reiter Park on December 11.
