Sesame Place in Langhorne turns into a Christmas wonderland for A Very Furry Christmas, a family-friendly celebration with the Sesame Street characters. Millions of lights, decorations and Sesame Street-themed rides fill the park, and families can sing and dance along at holiday shows, watch a music-and-light show at the 30-foot 1-2-3 Christmas Tree, catch the Sesame Street Christmas Parade and join the Furry Friends Holiday Dance Party. Children can visit Santa in his Furry Workshop and take photos with the Sesame Street characters in holiday outfits, and Dine with Elmo & Friends offers a character meal. The season opens with Santa's Grand Illumination on November 14 and includes a Christmas Eve celebration and a New Year's Eve fireworks show; the park is open on select dates through January 3, so check the operating calendar before you go.
