Yuletide at Winterthur is the museum's holiday tour season across its house, galleries and estate. This year's theme, Home for the Holidays, celebrates what home means: the place, the people, food, music and family traditions, with the house and estate decorated inside and out. Holiday Nights on most Fridays and Saturdays from November 27 keep the estate open until 8 pm with a candlelit house tour, live music, fire pits, an original gingerbread display and a grand dollhouse, plus special library events, workshops and holiday shopping. The galleries also show the exhibitions At Home at Winterthur and Challenging Masterpieces. Yuletide is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 am to 5 pm, is closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, closes early on Christmas Eve and is open New Year's Day. It is included with admission; tickets can be bought online or by calling 800.448.3883.
