Santa's Arrival and Tree Lighting Ceremony at Victoria Gardens

About this adventure

Victoria Gardens opens its holiday season on Friday evening, November 6, in Chaffey Town Square in Rancho Cucamonga. The shopping center's 45-foot live tree, brought down from Mt. Shasta, is lit for the first time as Santa Claus arrives, followed by a choreographed holiday light show, a laser display and live music from the band Harbor Party. It is an outdoor, stand-and-watch evening that suits families with children of any age; strollers are common, and arriving early helps to find a spot with a view of the tree. The ceremony also kicks off the nightly light shows and Santa photo visits that run in the square through Christmas Eve, so families can combine the lighting with dinner on Mainstreet. Dress warmly for an evening outdoors.
