- Carmichael Recreation and Park District
Carmichael Recreation and Park District opens the holiday season with a tree lighting at Carmichael Park. The evening has live music, arts and crafts and food trucks, and Santa is available for visits and photos at no extra cost — the district asks for one canned good per child, donated to the San Juan Unified School District food closet. The tree is lit as a flurry of 'snow' falls. It starts at 4:30 pm on a Thursday.
