Safe trick-or-treating for kids on the streets of downtown New Braunfels two days before Halloween. Downtown businesses, the New Braunfels Police and Fire Departments, the Solid Waste & Recycling Division, other city departments and community partners hand out treats at stops throughout downtown, 5–7 pm on Thursday, October 29. Look for teal pumpkin buckets for non-candy, allergen-safe treats. Admission is free; park free at City Hall (550 Landa Street) and take the shuttle, which runs 4:30–7:30 pm.
