The City of Helotes hosts a free holiday breakfast at the Helotes Fire Department where families meet Santa together with the city's firefighters, police, dispatchers and public works crews. Each ticket includes a light breakfast, a treat bag for every child, and a visit with Santa and the first responders between 9 and 11 am on Saturday, December 12 — the same day as the Helotes Hill Country Christmas Parade that evening. Tickets are free but limited to 200 seats, a maximum of six per group, and registration is required for entry; registration opens Tuesday, November 10 at 10 am. The event is open only to residents of the City of Helotes and its ETJ, and a residential address is required to register.
