- San Antonio Public Library – Schaefer Branch
A family holiday movie afternoon at the Schaefer Branch Library on the East Side. The library screens the animated film Rise of the Guardians — Jack Frost, Santa and friends — on the big screen, and children can make their own mini snow globe while supplies last. Light refreshments are served. The library lists the audience as all ages; the screening runs from 2:00 to about 3:45 pm on a Saturday in mid-December, a relaxed outing for families with school-age kids during the run-up to winter break.
