Bazan Branch Library on West Commerce Street opens a two-hour family play date on a Saturday, from noon to 2 pm. Families pretend, create and play games together with play materials the library provides. The library encourages families to bring friends and make new ones, so it works as a low-key meetup for parents of young children on the West Side. All families are welcome; it is listed under the library's kids programming.
