On the first Tuesday of every month, admission to the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park is free for everyone. The Conservatory is the oldest public wood-and-glass conservatory in North America and houses a rare and tropical plant collection in its humid galleries, which makes it a good indoor stop with children on a grey day. On the November 3, 2026 free day the Conservatory is open 10 AM to 4:30 PM with last entry at 4 PM. Outside the free days, admission remains free for Gardens members, San Francisco residents, children 4 and under, military and veterans, and Museums for All/EBT participants.
