Aquarium of the Bay on PIER 39 marks Halloween weekend with its annual Fish or Treat celebration. From 1 to 2 pm on both days, divers carve pumpkins underwater inside the Ray & Stephanie Lane Nearshore Tunnel while visitors watch, and at 2 pm the river otters get pumpkins as enrichment. A trick-or-treat candy station runs on Saturday, October 31 only. Children 12 and under who arrive in costume get free general admission on October 31 and November 1 (limitations apply), making it an inexpensive way to see the bay's sharks, rays and otters. Accompanying adults pay regular general admission.
