A three-morning winter-break camp (Monday–Wednesday, December 28–30) for ages 7 to 12 at Lindsay Wildlife Experience in Walnut Creek. Campers learn how wildlife copes with short days and long nights, find out which animal ambassadors are sleeping and meet those that are awake, and explore local trails and open spaces while talking about how people can reduce their impact on wildlife. Each day runs 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Campers should dress for the weather, wear closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle and a carry-able snack or lunch (no refrigeration).
