About this adventure
Gilroy Library closes its Hispanic Heritage Month celebration with a cajón drum circle led by Cunamacue. Participants sit on the box-shaped cajón drums and join in making the rhythm, linking beats to Spanish syllables and words while learning about Afro-Peruvian musical traditions. The hour-long class in the second-floor Community Room is lively and inclusive, so everyone in the family can help keep the beat. Space is limited; arrive early.
