About this adventure
Evergreen Branch Library marks 20 years with a two-hour community party. After opening remarks from District 8 Councilmember Domingo Candelas and City Librarian Jill Bourne, there are cultural dance performances by Jayendra Kalakendra and Ensamble Folclórico Colibrí, balloon art, face painting and giant bubble play stations, plus grab-and-go craft kits, a prize wheel, a prize drawing and refreshments while supplies last. Visitors can share a favorite Evergreen Branch memory and look for Discoveries, Larry Kirkland's marble sculptures of an ear, mouth and eye.
