About this adventure
Gilroy Gardens' Great Big BOO! is a family Halloween event on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights through November 1, with trick-or-treating and shows starting at 5 p.m. Children grab a Boo Trail Pail and trick-or-treat with the BOO Crew at Wendella's House on the Hill, hear storyteller Sammy Jo Scarecrow at BOO Town Hall, and sing along with The Great Big BOO Musical Show about saving Halloween from Wendella the Witch. The BOO Alley Light Tunnel is a walk-through animated musical light display, and an optional Interactive Pumpkin Wand leads kids to eight hidden BOO Zones. On October 30 and 31, Christopher Ranch gives away free books, garlic and tote bags plus garlic ice cream while supplies last. Costume weapons and weapon-like props are not allowed.
