A Christmas Eve family fun run: three loops (three miles total) around Tacoma's Wright Park, with a choice of 9 am or 11 am start. The start and finish are near the basketball courts at South I St and South 6th Ave. Every participant gets a beanie (or opts out to save $15), a sticker, a medal and a commemorative bib, plus complimentary hot chocolate, and the race is chip timed. Prices rise toward the date ($35, or $20 without a hat, Oct 10–Dec 4; $40/$25 Dec 5–22; $45/$30 Dec 23–24). Packet pickup is Dec 23, noon–5 pm, at People's Community Center or on race morning; there is no bag check and no designated parking.
