The National Museum of the American Latino presents a free Veterans Day festival at the National Museum of American History on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 10 am to 5:30 pm, in and around the Molina Family Latino Gallery. The festival honors generations of Latinos who have served in the U.S. military — from Admiral David Glasgow Farragut to veterans serving today — with conversations with veterans and military historians, historical tributes, a pop-up exhibition, participation from veterans organizations, and music of military and civic life such as marching bands. It is listed as a Kids & Families program, best suited to school-age children and teens interested in history. Free; registration recommended.
