Old Maryland Farm at Watkins Regional Park opens its barns to visitors on Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Families meet the livestock that live on the farm, explore the horse barn, and learn from staff about the care, training and history of the farm's horses and other animals. The event is free and open to all ages, so toddlers can see the animals up close while older children ask questions about farm work. It pairs well with the Woolly Bear Wingding at the nearby Watkins Nature Center the same morning.
