Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Vienna turns into an evening light trail for its 15th Winter Walk of Lights season, open November 11, 2026 through January 3, 2027. Visitors walk a half-mile paved loop through the gardens past lighted trees and displays themed on nature, winter and the holidays; the trail is wheelchair and stroller accessible, which makes it manageable with young children in a stroller. Families can roast marshmallows for s'mores near the end of the route and hot drinks are sold on site. Hours are 5:30 to 10 pm from November 11 to December 3, and 5 to 10 pm from December 4 onward, with last admission at 9:30 pm. Tickets are timed and priced by date: $19 online ($24 at the door) from November 11 to December 3 and January 1–3, and $24 online only from December 4 to 31, when no door tickets are sold. Book ahead for December evenings.
