Are all bats blind? Do vampire bats really exist? Children ages 6 to 11 find out at this Halloween-week science program at the Grayson Branch on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, 5 to 6 p.m. After learning bat facts and busting myths, kids craft a bat-themed bookmark to take home. Free, no registration listed; a good after-school stop for early elementary nature fans.
