About this adventure
A two-day Thanksgiving-break cooking camp at the Atlanta Botanical Garden's Midtown campus for children aged 7 to 10. Campers start in the garden, looking at the plants that give autumn food its flavors, then move to hands-on kitchen work: mixing, measuring and baking seasonal sweet treats while learning how ingredients travel from garden to table and trying flavors that may be new to them. The days run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the Monday and Tuesday of Thanksgiving week, which makes it a full-day option for working parents while schools are closed. Registration closes November 8; members register through a separate link at a lower fee.
