About this adventure
Zone of Light Studio in Decatur runs a Friday drop-off evening for children aged 5 to 12: three and a half hours of creative activities in the studio, a pizza dinner and an age-appropriate movie to finish. It is the studio's version of a parents' night out, staffed by the same team that runs its no-school days and summer camps, so children spend the evening making things rather than in front of a screen the whole time. The December date falls on the last Friday before the winter break, handy for holiday shopping or a grown-ups' dinner. Families enroll through the studio's camp-management registration link; space is limited.
