About this adventure

Weber's Cider Mill Farm in Parkville, a family farm since 1908, runs its Fall Harvest Days through the second weekend of November, so there are still two autumn weekends left to go. Admission covers the barnyard: hayrides and barrel-train rides, the giant hillside slide, a hay maze, a family-friendly skeleton walk, the farm animals (goats, ducks, bunnies and geese) and the play structures. Weekends add live music in the afternoons, food trucks and kids' entertainment such as face painting, balloon artists and glitter tattoos, while weekdays are quieter, with the hayride and barrel train running about once an hour. Apple cider doughnuts, apple slush and fresh-pressed cider are sold at the bakery counter. Pumpkins, gem mining at the Trading Post, goat treats and the face-painting and balloon vendors cost extra, and the ticket does not include apple picking, which happens at the family's separate PeachBerry Farm. Tickets are sold online only for a set arrival time, and everyone two and older needs one.
