On the first Saturday of December the Carroll County Farmer's Market welcomes Mr. and Mrs. Claus to its seasonal Christmas Market inside the Carroll County Agriculture Center in Westminster. Mrs. Claus collects children's letters to Santa, so it is worth having kids write theirs at home and bring them along, and parents are invited to snap their own phone photos with the couple — no photo package or booking is mentioned. The visit sits inside the market's Saturday-only Christmas Market and Hand Made Crafts Show, which brings 75 to 100 vendors each week: fresh local eggs, beef and pork, nuts, honey, jams and jellies, fresh evergreens, wreaths and seasonal plants, plus home-baked pies, cakes, cookies, scones, breads and candy.
