About this adventure
The Carroll County Arts Council screens the 1994 family comedy The Santa Clause (rated PG, 1 hr 37 min) in the historic Carroll Arts Center theater on Main Street in Westminster. In the film Tim Allen plays Scott Calvin, who finishes Santa's Christmas Eve deliveries with his young son and then learns at the North Pole that he must become the new Santa. Admission is free; the Arts Council asks families to let it know they are coming through the event page, and the concession stand sells popcorn, candy and sodas. The screening ends shortly before the City of Westminster's Miracle on Main electric holiday parade, which starts on Main Street at 5 pm, so families can stay downtown for both.
