About this adventure
Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks runs a four-hour Drop-N-Shop afternoon at the Arundel Olympic Swim Center the Saturday before Christmas, aimed at parents who need time for holiday errands. Children spend the afternoon swimming, doing arts and crafts, playing games and watching a movie while staff supervise. Families should send a lunch or snack, a swimsuit and goggles. Drop-off opens at 11:45 am and children must be picked up by 3:45 pm. Registration is through the county's ActiveCommunities catalog, where the fee and age range for the session are listed.
