About this adventure
Severn Library's holiday evening for young readers: children make holiday-themed crafts and then pick out a few gift-wrapped library books to check out and take home, so the surprise comes when they unwrap them and find out what the librarians chose. It is pitched at preschoolers and early-elementary children (up to about age 10) with their families, and runs for an hour on a Wednesday evening in the branch's community meeting room. No registration is listed, and the books are chosen by the librarians, so every child goes home with a surprise to open.
