During winter break, Hickory Grove Library invites families to unplug from screens and play tabletop games together. The library provides a variety of board games suitable for families, and the program is built for intergenerational play, from grandparents to preschoolers. Staff note that board games build cooperation, problem solving, letter and word recognition and critical-thinking skills. The session runs two hours on the morning of Tuesday, December 22, so families can drop in for a game or two.
