Davidson's Halloweekend begins with trick-or-treating down Main Street in the annual Halloween March; line-up starts at 5 p.m. at the Davidson Public Safety Building horseshoe parking lot. Before or after the march, Davidson Parks and Recreation hosts a pumpkin carving party on the Town Green (4–6:30 p.m.) with tools and simple patterns; the first 25 carvers get a free pumpkin. Carved pumpkins can be left for the Jack-o-Lantern Walk on the Town Green through Oct 30.
