About this adventure
The December Family Farm Day at the Anne Springs Close Greenway's Crandall Bowles Children's Farm adds holiday-themed photo spots around the farm to the usual hands-on animal time; families are asked to bring their own camera. Visitors can meet the farm's alpacas, horses, cattle, goats, chickens, ducks and pigs, play lawn games and buy snacks from on-site vendors. Lead line pony rides are offered for an extra fee, and feed buckets are sold at the welcome kiosk. Farm day activities run 9 a.m. to noon, with short breaks so the animals can rest.
