Mending the Wild is a temporary exhibition at Discovery Place Science featuring more than two dozen works by Charlotte artist Tina Alberni about conservation, biodiversity and endangered species. The pieces are made from reclaimed fabric, paper and canvas, which makes the show a good conversation starter with children about animals, habitats and reuse. It is included with museum admission and runs through January 3, 2027, so it can be combined with a regular museum visit, the live animal exhibits and an IMAX Dome show. Suitable for all ages.
